They called at 8am with strong indian accent, introduced themselves as Vodafone and offered a 30% discount on my current tariff. Yer man asked me to give him the code from the message. The message says not to tell anyone the code, as it is needed to log into the account. Be careful!

Several calls from this number saying they would offer me 30% discount for 12 months on Vodafone and sent code via text. I answered first one and said I could not deal with it then. They called back many times and I ignored and blocked.

caller said they were from Vodafone and were offering a discount. I’m not a Vodafone customer, so I immediately knew it was a scam. They asked for my credit card number so they could give me the money. He repeated several times that he was calling from Vodafone and was exasperated that I wouldn’t comply with his instructions.

Call was on Friday 29th August 2025 @11.15am. Called by this number and didn’t answer. It is a Dublin code 01 I thought it might be from some one I knew. I rang them back on another phone with blocked caller ID. Someone with a foreign accent answered. I said I received a missed call from you and they immediately hung up. I called again and this time a child answered and there was children in the background, and she just kept shouting hello then hung up. It was a very echoing space like a stairwell or empty concrete building, it didn’t sound like a house or office, it sounded like a big empty space. I am of the opinion it was some sort of scam call. My network did not charge me anything for the two calls I made.

Same scenario as other commenters here. Received a call saying that they are from Vodafone and are looking for feedback on their service. Offered 30% off monthly bill and proceeded to send a code by text. Text said we will never call to ask for this code so I told the guy I’m not comfortable and hung up.
